PROJECTS 22 23 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Grit and personality We’re in the Lake Iseo area, in the heart of Franciacorta. A home that takes your breath away and makes your heart race at first glance. A project with contemporary, tactile appeal that reflects the energy and boldness of the owner, a former motorcycle racer. How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? A new building in the heart of Franciacorta with four apartments, and this is the home chosen by the owner, a former professional racer. The world of racing had to come through powerfully in the spirit of this home, because it was – and still is – the heartbeat of its owner. Grit and strong personality had to shine through every detail: the extensive selection of furnishings offered by ostiliomobili made it possible to have everything needed to create such a special setting, including the perfect stage for the quad bike that starred in memorable races and for the owner’s trophies. A true competition tackled like a winning team. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? Projects like this have to meet the expectations and needs of a particularly demanding clientele. The owner’s racing background meant the client pursued perfection down to the smallest detail, with a need for premium, high-performance materials with a strong visual impact. Only close collaboration between the designer and the supplier makes it possible to hit such ambitious targets. What do you think of the furniture supply service offered by ostiliomobili? How did it support your creative and operational process? This is a home rich in elements with real character: together with ostiliomobili we found every piece needed to hit the brief and integrated them into the spaces flawlessly. A team that worked with meticulous, truly “competition-level” care from the first stages through delivery and installation, even on elements requiring special workmanship, such as the panelling. The installation of the client’s chosen appliances – particularly high-tech – was also handled with great care and specialised skills. Can you tell us a particular detail about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? This is a total open space. The double-sided fireplace and the bronze Stopsol sliding glass panels only idealise the separation between the night and day areas. The furnishings themselves organise the spaces, with tactile finishes and colour tones that have to harmonise across every room. We worked to create this balanced harmony together with ostiliomobili. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? Choosing the right piece can make the difference, amplifying the mood of a space. Having access to the wide range of brands that ostiliomobili offers is already a big plus. And thanks to long-standing collaborations with acclaimed artists, we can bring in alluring objects – artworks and sculptures for an extra touch of class – along with textiles, rugs and accessories. PROJECTS 24 25 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 A home that catches the eye and stirs the soul from the very first moment. A signature project by ostiliomobili, distinguished by a strong, contemporary character, a reflection of its bold owner, a former motorcycle racer. Nestled among the gentle hills of Franciacorta, near Lake Iseo, rises a new building with four exclusive apartments. On the ground floor ostiliomobili shaped a designer space with Iriam Bettera Design studio, curating every detail and leveraging its architectural essence. The owner, whose life has been all about speed, chose a contemporary style that reflects his enterprising spirit. The apartment unfolds on a single level, where day and night areas brush past one another, divided by just one wall. Minimal structural partitions amplify the open space, creating a flowing, continuous feel. The living room: daring and originality Raw structural pillar with an industrial vibe In the living room, materials and colours take centre stage. A large velvet sofa in wine red stands opposite the TV wall, clad in Patagonia stone. Its golden and brown veining traces precious patterns, in harmony with wood panelling that extends to the ceiling. The interplay of smooth surfaces and timber slats frames a double-sided fireplace, linking the lounge to the bedroom in a dialogue of warmth and intimacy. PHOTO Michela Melotti
PROJECTS 26 27 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Brass-effect metallic finishes, Patagonia naturalstone worktop Behind the sofa, full-height kitchen units optimise the space. A brass-effect metallic lacquer lends understated elegance, enriched by raw-metal handles that add a distinctive touch. The simple central island reveals only the Patagonia stone top, discreetly concealing the working area. White panelling frames the wall and wraps into a corner moulding, creating a refined continuum between ceiling and walls. In the night area, the bedroom conveys strength and materiality. A thick wall of rough stone adds primal allure, while rounded wood boiserie softens and warms the room. Natural light caresses the white velvet bed inspired by Japanese lines and brings calm and harmony. Next to it, a bronze Stopsol sliding glass wall leads to the primary bathroom, fully clad in marble-look ceramic tiles. This enveloping, distinctive space contrasts with the herringbone parquet flooring that characterises the rest of the home. A further mirrored sliding door reveals the walk-in wardrobe with an essential, contemporary design. A home that embodies personality, energy and timeless elegance. PROJECTS 30 31 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 A renovation has transformed two old buildings into an alluring penthouse furnished with exquisite elegance. In the open space the kitchen is set at a different level from the rest Archiabita studio, architects Romina Turra and Luciano Ragni ARCHIABITA STUDIO DI ARCHITETTURA How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Working with ostiliomobili felt like a relaxing journey with an expert “guide” who could respond instantly to needs, nuances and the research behind the project. Every request – even the most complex – was addressed with timely solutions aligned with our studio’s guiding ideas. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? Synergy between architect and furniture supplier is undoubtedly the foundation of every successful project. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? I can only give top marks to ostiliomobili’s service: for this project they supported and delivered every requirement, from supplying furnishings to producing the bespoke pieces and elements we designed. What sets ostiliomobili apart in your mind? Given that many areas in this project were designed specifically for the success of the penthouse, much was custom-made to our drawings and followed personally, step by step. One example is the wine-cellar area, a room designed to host a generous collection for tasting. Creating this space involved several professionals – joiner, metalworker and electrician – whose skill and know-how gave the room a unique feel. The window is concealed (though it can be revealed when needed to let in light and air) by a kind of screen that also clads the adjacent wall in custom, expanded sheet metal. Hiding the track system that lets everything slide as required was a rewarding challenge. Inside, amidst oak-veneer shelving and sheet-metal elements – including a refrigerated wine unit and sheet-metal modules with backlit oak shelves – a sideboard appears with a metal frame and drawers made from prestigious Champagne wooden cases whose varied tones bring the cellar to life. Illuminated by a hidden light source, a Berkel in the iconic burgundy colour dominates the centre. How do you see the future of your sector? A client who entrusts a home project to an architect, as in this case, should work closely with the professional to the end. Having designed the space, the architect already knows where to place the right element in the right spot. Cooperation with the furniture store is essential because the architect, envisioning the interior from the outset, can elevate the whole home through the most appropriate furnishing choices. PROJECTS 32 33 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Oak panelling custom-made by ostiliomobili’s carpentry Once again, the lake becomes the silent protagonist of everyday life. Its shifting hues frame the windows of this penthouse overlooking the waters of Lake Iseo, adding allure and depth to interiors where modernity, elegance and comfort blend in perfect harmony. This recent renovation by Archiabita studio in collaboration with ostiliomobili breathes new life into the spaces, instilling character and personality in every room. The penthouse originally resulted from merging two apartments that had become outdated and unsuited to contemporary living. The project completely redefined the layout, transforming two obsolete residences into a single refined space where warmth is combined with technology and a carefully curated palette of materials. The heart of the penthouse is the large open-plan living area, embraced by a sloping timber roof that wraps the space in an intimate, bright atmosphere. White, almost velvety beams converse with natural stone cladding on some of the walls, giving the room a strong earthy identity. The living room is anchored by a fabric corner sofa with soft, generous lines, facing the TV area. A boldly coloured armchair with matching ottoman adds a striking visual accent and invites you to relax. Behind the sofa, on a raised platform, the kitchen takes shape with a central island. Here a linear table-style counter is perfect for breakfasts and quick lunches. This play on levels adds dynamism and visually sets the kitchen apart while maintaining a sense of continuity. A distinctive feature is the owner’s glass-fronted wine cellar, an expression of his passion for wine. Framed by dramatic full-height glazing, it becomes a true furnishing feature, simultaneously elegant and functional. PHOTO Eros Mauroner

The fireplace and TV are set into a partition wall that gently separates the bedroom from the walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The latter spans a generous footprint, featuring 270-cm semi-circular mirrors and a dual-access shower with strong scenic impact. Continuity and warmth come from the choice of parquet running throughout the home, except in the bathrooms. Every detail speaks of a perfect balance between furnishings and volumes, while light – both natural and artificial – plays a key role, shaping mood and reflections to suit the moment’s desires and needs. PROJECTS 38 39 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Lopigom’s headquarters is the home of a carefully curated project devoted to well-being, sustainability and design. How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? The office world has specific needs and timelines. The Lopigom offices project formed part of a full renovation that also involved the exterior of the corporate HQ. This made the endeavour particularly complex, as renovating offices requires working where others are already busy doing their jobs. It means respecting schedules, moving quickly without compromising quality, and employing methods that are as non-invasive as possible. ostiliomobili has extensive experience in this area: we worked actively side by side, from the earliest concepts to completion. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? In an office space, the “brand identity” aspect requires special care. Colours and the stylistic signature must reflect the company’s image, enhance it and strengthen how it is conveyed. At the same time every desk, workstation and meeting room must meet criteria of ergonomics and ease of use, comply with standards and regulations, and be made from fire-retardant, durable, easy-to-manage materials. ostiliomobili boasts decades of experience in the office sector, and thus over the course of many years has consolidated reliable, high-quality partnerships. Having such a wide range to choose from certainly contributed to the end result. What do you think of the furniture supply service offered by ostiliomobili? How did it support your creative and operational process? The ostiliomobili team can manage every step of a job, coordinating vendors and craftspeople on site. This greatly supports schedule management, quality checks and constant monitoring of work progress. Their installers are expert, certified and know how to move discreetly, even in a setting as sensitive as this one. Can you tell us a particular detail about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? More than any single detail, the numbers tell the story: the Lopigom office building spans two floors, for a total area of 800 m2, divided into 50 workstations, 8 technical offices, 4 conference rooms and 4 executive offices. A true challenge, tackled by bringing every possible synergy into play. Everything in this project was the result of careful selection aimed at a single goal: caring for the well-being of employees and everyone who uses the spaces. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? In an operational workspace nothing is left to chance. Every furnishing element is designed for maximum usability, paired with acoustic panels and prepped for concealed tech connections, plus ample storage to keep an overall view that’s orderly and welcoming. Having the full range of essentials to configure the spaces was hugely useful, and it was just as important to give the client peace of mind that all these heavily used elements will benefit from ostiliomobili’s guaranteed lifetime free support for every piece. The Office sector demands fast, tailored answers, where function and aesthetics go hand in hand. That’s why Lopigom, a leader in the production and processing of plastics, chose ostiliomobili to furnish its new offices at its Credaro headquarters, recently renovated from top to bottom, from the interiors to the architectural design of the exterior. Articulated, complex projects of this scale underscore the importance of having long-standing collaborations. For years, ostiliomobili has worked side by side with Iriam Bettera Design studio of Onore, Bergamo, author of the concept for Lopigom’s new headquarters, contributing at every stage, from initial design to final delivery. Here, every element – from desk to conference room – is designed around ergonomics and practicality, balancing aesthetics and functionality. Nothing is left to chance. Spaces dominated by light neutrals like pale grey and white are enriched with accents in dark grey, black and petrol green. The furnishings are completed with sound-absorbing panels predisposed for the integration of invisible technology, keeping the space orderly and inviting. Light plays a central role. In the executive offices the mood becomes warmer and more welcoming. Statement desks are paired with signature lamps, creating an atmosphere of comfort and prestige. The canteen area surprises with a lively touch: a long yellow wall decorated with natural-wood elements with a “food” theme adds warmth and dynamism. When synergy simplifies complexity the project is able to take shape. A dynamic, refined villa on Lake Iseo, with every comfort to enjoy daily life to the fullest. How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? This project was guided by the idea of a space that nurtures body and soul, making everyday life lighter yet richer in meaning. Every area had to meet the needs of those who would live there, embracing the beauty and light around the villa and wrapped in every comfort. From the very first briefs drawn up together with the ostiliomobili team, it was clear we were speaking the same language: the spirit I wanted to convey was immediately understood and embraced by a team of true professionals. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? A synergistic relationship with the furniture supplier is crucial to the final result. You often picture iconic design pieces in context – items that make the difference and give rooms character – but they may not be among the brands in the supplier’s catalogue. With ostiliomobili that wasn’t a hurdle: they were able to deliver every piece, including items they don’t usually carry. PROJECTS 48 49 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 What do you think of the furniture supply service offered by ostiliomobili? How did it support your creative and operational process? As I mentioned, the ostiliomobili team instantly grasped the project’s spirit and ran with it. And on a project of this scale, it’s essential to know you can partner with a supplier who stands behind their work: ostiliomobili provides free lifetime support on all goods supplied. A service that’s anything but ordinary, reassuring to us as designers and above all reassuring to the end client. Can you tell us a particular detail about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? In a “tailor-made” space like this, it’s inevitable you’ll need unique custom pieces or to make adjustments and refinements to the details. With ostiliomobili, all these bespoke works become part of the project. Their carpentry guided us through every custom phase: seasoned craftspeople who obsess over details and deliver high-quality work. The value of a piece often lies in those details that only truly expert hands can craft. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? Choosing the right furniture can only elevate the architectural project. Having iconic, high-quality brands to draw on heightens the sense of preciousness in the space. It lets you explore a wider palette of fabrics, materials and combinations. Often these fine choices aren’t noticed individually, but together they add significant intrinsic value. PHOTO Eros Mauroner
PROJECTS 50 51 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Bathroom in Valle Camonica porphyry, diagonally cut to design Bathroom in Valle Camonica porphyry, diagonally cut to design An elegant fusion of dynamism and refinement, designed for maximum comfort and to make each everyday moment feel special. ostiliomobili was responsible for the interior design of a villa overlooking Lake Iseo. Living in a home that feeds body and soul – turning spaces and objects into quiet yet essential companions – often feels like an aspiration that’s hard to achieve. Yet ostiliomobili shows that creating a made-to-measure environment, one that delights the eye and delivers well-being in every corner – is absolutely possible. A family’s needs evolve, tastes are refined and finding solutions that harmonise different wishes can become a complex challenge. It’s a challenge ostiliomobili embraced with enthusiasm, guiding the renovation of this villa with a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo. Here the lake view isn’t just a detail, it’s the centre point around which the whole project turns. Wide windows – like eyes looking outward with wonder – let natural light flood the interiors, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out. The spaces were designed to breathe. Open zones converse while keeping clear boundaries: the kitchen doesn’t encroach on the relaxation area, while the dining room sits slightly apart to ensure privacy and intimacy for guests. The heart of the home beats in the living room, where a pitched timber ceiling frames the space, making it warm and enveloping. Here comfort takes shape through iconic design pieces: Vitra’s Lounge Chair & Ottoman pairs with a Molteni sofa, while a Focus fireplace adds a spectacular touch. Domino coffee tables and circular pendant lights complete the setting, inviting the eye to play with shifting perspectives. The simple yet highly technological kitchen has Miele appliances, offering impeccable performance without sacrificing a minimalist aesthetic. Adjacent, a round table looks through glazing to a lake-view porch, perfect for family meals. For more formal occasions, a separate dining room features a square, leather-clad table paired with elegant Molteni chairs. A white, modern, sculptural staircase leads to the night area. With its essential, Greek-fret line, it delimits the space with lightness and elegance. In the primary bedroom, the black-leather Molteni bed makes a statement, balanced by a Sangiacomo walk-in wardrobe in smoked glass with a golden tint, which brightens and enriches the room. The villa is completed by indoor and outdoor spaces with the same care for detail, tracing a path where beauty, comfort and function blend in perfect harmony. A project that celebrates everyday life, turning it into a truly pleasurable experience. PHOTO Eros Mauroner
52 53 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Outdoor: Reflections of water and sky
PROJECTS 54 55 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? I’m always happy to work with ostiliomobili whenever I can, and for this project – as with others – it was a true pleasure. The reason is simple: we share the same goal, our client’s satisfaction above all else. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? Creating a home often means making a dream come true, and for our clients it’s a demanding journey from every point of view. Our job as architects and suppliers is to make that journey as smooth as possible, with the peace of mind only true friends can give. In this, ostiliomobili is a wonderful partner. How did ostiliomobili support your creative and operational process? For us architects, feeling free to propose – knowing we’ll always be heard and supported – is essential. With ostiliomobili you can request special technical solutions and always find a counterpart you can count on. It’s like being on a team where everyone works toward a common goal, and the results inevitably follow. Can you tell us about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? The design and production of the kitchen space required a great deal of effort from everyone. Cooking, dining, working, studying, welcoming friends in an open, comfortable, truly enjoyable space called for a special effort, blending standard furniture with custom carpentry. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? Before we focus on individual pieces we consider volumes, space, light and both visual and physical flows. But it’s undeniable that furniture choices can amplify and elevate the project’s vision or diminish it. In this project, the living room furnishings had to be elegant yet easy to use. Here, the furniture choices truly made the difference.. A new dimension of modern, open spaces, combining beauty, comfort and technology. Flooded with natural light, this zone is not only highly functional but also a refined aesthetic feature that dialogues with the outdoors, extending the home toward the surrounding greenery. The original openings – once simple French doors onto the loggia – have been reinvented as distinctive architectural signatures. Today a rhythmic sequence of varied-size apertures marks the transition between living room, kitchen and corridor, evoking the structure’s historic charm. A glossy black finish used for door and window frames, wardrobes and lamps threads through the rooms like a common motif, lending a bold, contemporary character. The custom-sized parquet flows continuously across the living spaces, bringing unity, warmth and elegance to every room. The kitchen, with its technological, refined design, unfolds in three distinct volumes. The central island, embellished by a wood top, serves as the family table, and as a study area for the girls when needed. Beside it, white columns integrate refrigerators and pantries, concealing accesses to the bathroom and laundry behind pocket doors. Completing the setting is a bank of built-in appliances, suspended and set within a refined wooden structure. The primary bedroom is situated at the end of a corridor lined with custom cabinetry. Here, a red leather swinging door – the design’s centrepiece – opens to an intimate, light-filled space. The bed, set before a large window that once overlooked the loggia, seems to blend into the outdoor landscape. The entire project reveals a perfect balance between past and present. Historic traces intertwine with advanced technological and home-automation solutions that orchestrate the whole house. The result is a residence that, while evoking the allure of the past, stands out for its extraordinary efficiency and contemporary appeal. PROJECTS 60 61 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 ostiliomobili signs a current and enveloping furnishing project, full of refined and exclusive details. Laura Cesari Interior Designer Can you tell us a particular detail about the project you created with ostiliomobili? The whole project was a challenge because the clients had lots of ideas that were – as often happens – a bit hard to pin down. In fact, the design phase took a long time, with countless changes of direction. Of course it’s their home, but the entire project was meant to be their calling card. We’re talking about a couple that’s used to hosting many evenings with friends and colleagues at home, with a clear request to create a real “wow” effect. That’s why we focused strongly on a very distinctive kitchen that could double as a bar for such occasions, and on the dining space, creating a table just for them.. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? The architect definitely plays a key role, keeping a constant eye on what’s happening on site and making sure everything is executed as designed together with the furniture supplier, so nothing is left to chance. The architect is the creative driver, and often the furniture supplier’s job is to clarify the alternatives and the constraints of each brand being brought into the project. When craftspeople get involved everything changes – in the best possible way – because you can create brand-new, fully custom pieces, as we did for this couple’s table.. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? In this case it was easy to create a distinctive atmosphere because the couple let themselves be guided and happily embraced our proposals together with those of the architect. Their taste is a little out of the ordinary, which made it natural to choose brushed brass and a very special marble for the kitchen, and deep green velvet for the sofa. What sets ostiliomobili apart in your mind? Our strength is doing everything possible to meet each client’s requests and budget. ostiliomobili is able to deliver a contemporary, enveloping interior project, rich in refined, exclusive details. We work with a very wide range of products that gives us great flexibility, and thanks to our craftspeople we can also offer custom-made furniture and finishes. We also put a strong focus on customer service, following up on every detail during the design phase and remaining close even after the sale. How do you see the future of your sector? It’s undeniable that clients are increasingly demanding, better informed and more precise in their ideas. I’m convinced that ongoing training and upskilling will become essential business assets. And that training can’t just cover aesthetics or interior trends, it has to be increasingly technical to ensure a functional, exciting result that goes well beyond expectations! Our sector rests on one clear assumption: for Italians the home is – and will always remain – a nest and safe harbour where we can take refuge and recharge. The concept of home won’t change, but it will evolve in step with a society undergoing a profound transformation. Modern desires PHOTO Michela Melotti
PROJECTS 62 63 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 An interior project that blends modernity and warmth – an enveloping setting where refined, exclusive details define every space – signed by ostiliomobili. Set in the evocative landscape of Lake Garda, this newly built villa engages in a constant dialogue with nature. Large windows onto the garden and the lake frame ever-changing views, offering shifting perspectives that amplify the home’s appeal. Decisive, modern architectural lines play against warm, enveloping interiors, carefully designed by the ostiliomobili team to suit a young couple’s lifestyle. Spread over three levels, the villa expresses dynamism and functionality in every room. On the ground floor, a bright relaxation area directly overlooks the pool. In summer, sliding glass doors dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, merging salon and garden into one fluid space. Next to it, the living room hosts a second, more formal lounge with a panoramic view and a three-sided fireplace set into a partition that subtly separates spaces, while sharing the warmth of the flame from different angles. The dining room’s standout feature is the table, created from an antique Balinese door, a precious memento reinterpreted with taste and originality. Contemporary wallpaper, against which two twin display cabinets with clean lines are set, adds depth and character to this space for entertaining. In the kitchen, the same refined mood emerges in the choices of the materials: brass finishes converse with backlit Patagonia marble, casting a soft, suggestive glow over the working area. The central island, complete with snack area, becomes a practical yet sophisticated meeting point, enhancing the space’s functional beauty. Every meticulous detail balances aesthetics and practicality, elevating everyday life. The night area is upstairs, an oasis of peace and intimacy. Each room has its own personality yet speaks the same language of warm materials and enveloping atmospheres. In the primary bedroom, a slatted timber feature wall discreetly conceals the walk-in wardrobe, enhanced by LED lighting that adds depth and warmth. In another bedroom, the headboard stands out against soft-toned wallpaper, paired with a pink velvet bed for a look of gentle elegance. A project of balance and harmony, where every element – from furniture to materials – tells a story of beauty, comfort and a passion for design. PHOTO Michela Melotti

PROJECTS 68 69 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Flowing spaces and enveloping design combine to create a relaxing refuge overlooking Lake Iseo. How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? My experience with ostiliomobili is built on a collaboration spanning about ten years, with a shared goal of adding value to every space by studying resources, materials and pairings together. They excel at matching the surrounding architectural concept with a design that covers a wide, diverse range of interior furnishings, giving shape to everyday life. Their attention to detail is always conveyed through thoughtful choices aligned with the architecture, pursuing quality, beauty and above all functionality. Materials are used in a consistent manner, making surfaces and colours a true added value. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Synergy between the architect and the interior designer is essential to carefully and consistently “blend” all the ingredients in an architectural project. Spaces must be skilfully “staged” to elevate the quality of living, capturing the client’s needs and translating them into forms, surfaces and colours that make the environment a unique, recognisable showcase of compositional skill. This dynamic collaboration delivers maximum comfort and elegance, a vital balance for the success of any project. The outdoor area invites open-air living, furnished with nautical rope designer seating that’s both comfortable and original. Comfort zone PHOTO Eros Mauroner What do you think of the furniture supply service offered by ostiliomobili? How did it support your creative and operational process? First comes quality paired with full support, following the process from the idea phase to the completed design, from production through to final installation by highly qualified personnel. It was a dynamic, tailored process, where research into materials and details became the added value, blending every component to perfection. A well-executed project takes time: you keep the goal in mind, but you also work closely together to find every way to achieve it, reconciling the value of craftsmanship with contemporary inputs. ostiliomobili brings over 50 years of professionalism to this activity, supporting the creative process with specialised technicians before and after the sale in an approach whose every step is carefully planned. Can you tell us about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? Partnering with ostiliomobili for the Lake Iseo residence set the scene – and the right input – for a holistic living solution aimed at something special, with contemporaneity as the preferred language. Light, materials and colours were expressed through a meticulous selection of specific designer pieces; the biggest challenge was the hunt for signature furnishings, requiring visits to multiple showrooms to experience the products firsthand and guarantee their reliability. The interior project focused on original furnishings and flexible solutions to optimise the space, paired with the choice of finishes and colours, not to mention the study of systems and lighting to enhance their intrinsic quality. Relying on a single counterpart – ostiliomobili – that could coordinate multiple suppliers and facets of the job gave me the confidence that I’d chosen the right partner. This collaboration achieved a result of great refinement and harmony.
PROJECTS 70 71 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 The building featured here is by architect Alberto Caldara: a generous two-storey residence. A rational structure conceals an elegant, contemporary soul layered with textiles and carefully curated design pieces. Light pours in through large windows, while crisp geometric cuts add dynamism and ensure the owners’ privacy. Understated, effortless elegance is the common thread that runs through social spaces to the most private rooms. The home’s beauty lies above all in its expansive interiors rich in materials and functionally organised across two floors, with a broad terrace and large French doors; an interplay of volumes mixing light and shadows, defined by clean architectural forms and the glow reflected from the lake. The interior design reflects a contemporary, elegant focus, and the functionality of the spaces follows today’s architectural standards, characterising the entire home. The living area is very spacious, and the lower level features several distinct sleeping zones, something you’ll rarely find elsewhere. All was conceived and brought to life by an exceptional team united by a passion for design: architect Alberto Caldara, project designer and site director, in partnership with the interior designers at ostiliomobili, which supplied the furnishings. The living area is a generous openplan space that accommodates the lounge with fireplace and the dining area. As for colour, warm earth tones with touches of grey lend refinement and balance, while premium materials – leathers, Canaletto walnut, brass trims, crystal and bookmatched marbles – become signature features. The large windows link indoor and outdoor volumes, bringing light at every hour, while the architect’s proposals – in partnership with ostiliomobili – introduce smart solutions from the finest brands Made in Italy. Downstairs is the night area with three bedrooms: two doubles, one directly connected to a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom to form one generous suite and another equally elegant and seductive, and a single bedroom for the daughter. The walk-in wardrobe makes use of every centimetre, with full-height storage and handle-less doors that match the wall colours and give the space a certain lightness. Outside, the home is well structured and enjoys a magnificent lake view. The residence blends effortlessly into the gentle landscape, perfect for family life and welcoming friends. For entertaining, there are sofas and seats adorned with cushions and a large table, all protected by the panoramic terrace where you can watch the sunset from a sofa nestled in a woven structure: the quintessence of openair relaxation on summer evenings. The King size bed stands out for its fabric tufted headboard, the same material chosen to also cover the large coordinated chest of drawers. The bed is highlighted by a dramatic wall-mounted headboard in leather and fabric, matched with elegant, highgloss lacquered wood nightstands. PHOTO Eros Mauroner
