PROJECTS 38 39 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Lopigom’s headquarters is the home of a carefully curated project devoted to well-being, sustainability and design. How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? The office world has specific needs and timelines. The Lopigom offices project formed part of a full renovation that also involved the exterior of the corporate HQ. This made the endeavour particularly complex, as renovating offices requires working where others are already busy doing their jobs. It means respecting schedules, moving quickly without compromising quality, and employing methods that are as non-invasive as possible. ostiliomobili has extensive experience in this area: we worked actively side by side, from the earliest concepts to completion. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? In an office space, the “brand identity” aspect requires special care. Colours and the stylistic signature must reflect the company’s image, enhance it and strengthen how it is conveyed. At the same time every desk, workstation and meeting room must meet criteria of ergonomics and ease of use, comply with standards and regulations, and be made from fire-retardant, durable, easy-to-manage materials. ostiliomobili boasts decades of experience in the office sector, and thus over the course of many years has consolidated reliable, high-quality partnerships. Having such a wide range to choose from certainly contributed to the end result. What do you think of the furniture supply service offered by ostiliomobili? How did it support your creative and operational process? The ostiliomobili team can manage every step of a job, coordinating vendors and craftspeople on site. This greatly supports schedule management, quality checks and constant monitoring of work progress. Their installers are expert, certified and know how to move discreetly, even in a setting as sensitive as this one. Can you tell us a particular detail about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? More than any single detail, the numbers tell the story: the Lopigom office building spans two floors, for a total area of 800 m2, divided into 50 workstations, 8 technical offices, 4 conference rooms and 4 executive offices. A true challenge, tackled by bringing every possible synergy into play. Everything in this project was the result of careful selection aimed at a single goal: caring for the well-being of employees and everyone who uses the spaces. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? In an operational workspace nothing is left to chance. Every furnishing element is designed for maximum usability, paired with acoustic panels and prepped for concealed tech connections, plus ample storage to keep an overall view that’s orderly and welcoming. Having the full range of essentials to configure the spaces was hugely useful, and it was just as important to give the client peace of mind that all these heavily used elements will benefit from ostiliomobili’s guaranteed lifetime free support for every piece.
