Living in a home that feeds body and soul – turning spaces and objects into quiet yet essential companions – often feels like an aspiration that’s hard to achieve. Yet ostiliomobili shows that creating a made-to-measure environment, one that delights the eye and delivers well-being in every corner – is absolutely possible. A family’s needs evolve, tastes are refined and finding solutions that harmonise different wishes can become a complex challenge. It’s a challenge ostiliomobili embraced with enthusiasm, guiding the renovation of this villa with a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo. Here the lake view isn’t just a detail, it’s the centre point around which the whole project turns. Wide windows – like eyes looking outward with wonder – let natural light flood the interiors, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out. The spaces were designed to breathe. Open zones converse while keeping clear boundaries: the kitchen doesn’t encroach on the relaxation area, while the dining room sits slightly apart to ensure privacy and intimacy for guests. The heart of the home beats in the living room, where a pitched timber ceiling frames the space, making it warm and enveloping. Here comfort takes shape through iconic design pieces: Vitra’s Lounge Chair & Ottoman pairs with a Molteni sofa, while a Focus fireplace adds a spectacular touch. Domino coffee tables and circular pendant lights complete the setting, inviting the eye to play with shifting perspectives. The simple yet highly technological kitchen has Miele appliances, offering impeccable performance without sacrificing a minimalist aesthetic. Adjacent, a round table looks through glazing to a lake-view porch, perfect for family meals. For more formal occasions, a separate dining room features a square, leather-clad table paired with elegant Molteni chairs. A white, modern, sculptural staircase leads to the night area. With its essential, Greek-fret line, it delimits the space with lightness and elegance. In the primary bedroom, the black-leather Molteni bed makes a statement, balanced by a Sangiacomo walk-in wardrobe in smoked glass with a golden tint, which brightens and enriches the room. The villa is completed by indoor and outdoor spaces with the same care for detail, tracing a path where beauty, comfort and function blend in perfect harmony. A project that celebrates everyday life, turning it into a truly pleasurable experience. PHOTO Eros Mauroner
