How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? Creating a home often means making a dream come true, and for our clients it’s a demanding journey from every point of view. Our job as architects and suppliers is to make that journey as smooth as possible, with the peace of mind only true friends can give. In this, ostiliomobili is a wonderful partner. How did ostiliomobili support your creative and operational process? For us architects, feeling free to propose – knowing we’ll always be heard and supported – is essential. With ostiliomobili you can request special technical solutions and always find a counterpart you can count on. It’s like being on a team where everyone works toward a common goal, and the results inevitably follow. Can you tell us about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? The design and production of the kitchen space required a great deal of effort from everyone. Cooking, dining, working, studying, welcoming friends in an open, comfortable, truly enjoyable space called for a special effort, blending standard furniture with custom carpentry. How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Were there elements that made the difference for you and your clients? Before we focus on individual pieces we consider volumes, space, light and both visual and physical flows. But it’s undeniable that furniture choices can amplify and elevate the project’s vision or diminish it. In this project, the living room furnishings had to be elegant yet easy to use. Here, the furniture choices truly made the difference.. A new dimension of modern, open spaces, combining beauty, comfort and technology.
