How would you describe your collaboration with ostiliomobili? Which aspects impressed you the most? My experience with ostiliomobili is built on a collaboration spanning about ten years, with a shared goal of adding value to every space by studying resources, materials and pairings together. They excel at matching the surrounding architectural concept with a design that covers a wide, diverse range of interior furnishings, giving shape to everyday life. Their attention to detail is always conveyed through thoughtful choices aligned with the architecture, pursuing quality, beauty and above all functionality. Materials are used in a consistent manner, making surfaces and colours a true added value. How do you think the synergy between the architect and the furniture supplier can positively influence a project’s final outcome? How do you think furniture choices can add value to an architectural project? Synergy between the architect and the interior designer is essential to carefully and consistently “blend” all the ingredients in an architectural project. Spaces must be skilfully “staged” to elevate the quality of living, capturing the client’s needs and translating them into forms, surfaces and colours that make the environment a unique, recognisable showcase of compositional skill. This dynamic collaboration delivers maximum comfort and elegance, a vital balance for the success of any project. The outdoor area invites open-air living, furnished with nautical rope designer seating that’s both comfortable and original. First comes quality paired with full support, following the process from the idea phase to the completed design, from production through to final installation by highly qualified personnel. It was a dynamic, tailored process, where research into materials and details became the added value, blending every component to perfection. A well-executed project takes time: you keep the goal in mind, but you also work closely together to find every way to achieve it, reconciling the value of craftsmanship with contemporary inputs. ostiliomobili brings over 50 years of professionalism to this activity, supporting the creative process with specialised technicians before and after the sale in an approach whose every step is carefully planned. Can you tell us about the project you created with ostiliomobili? What was the challenge or unique detail of this project? Partnering with ostiliomobili for the Lake Iseo residence set the scene – and the right input – for a holistic living solution aimed at something special, with contemporaneity as the preferred language. Light, materials and colours were expressed through a meticulous selection of specific designer pieces; the biggest challenge was the hunt for signature furnishings, requiring visits to multiple showrooms to experience the products firsthand and guarantee their reliability. The interior project focused on original furnishings and flexible solutions to optimise the space, paired with the choice of finishes and colours, not to mention the study of systems and lighting to enhance their intrinsic quality. Relying on a single counterpart – ostiliomobili – that could coordinate multiple suppliers and facets of the job gave me the confidence that I’d chosen the right partner. This collaboration achieved a result of great refinement and harmony.
