PROJECTS 82 83 ostiliomobili Magazine - Edition 1 Suspended between sky and earth, set into the rock of the Bergamo hills, this villa rises across multiple levels, fusing contemporary, modern pieces with the eternal beauty of a view that takes your breath away. The home featured here escapes traditional boundaries, embracing the landscape in a constant dialogue between indoors and out. Built around a rock cavity uncovered during construction, the villa rises from the depth of the stone to reach the sky’s ethereal light. Expansive perimeter glazing frames nature, turning every room into a vantage point for views that shift with the hours and the seasons. Here, design and landscape merge into a single symphony that is carefully orchestrated by ostiliomobili’s interior designers. These spaces are more than rooms: they’re havens for calm and connection. The entrance, a kind of underground vestibule anchored to exposed rock, introduces an ascent that crosses four levels. The lower floors host service areas, while the villa’s beating heart extends to the top level, where light reigns supreme thanks to a soaring double height. A central patio, conceived as an outdoor oasis, softly separates the parents’ area from the children’s, striking a perfect balance between intimacy and openness. The furnishings oscillate between simplicity and sophistication. Clean-lined volumes and contemporary compositions play against a neutral palette sparked by bold accents: acid green and bordeaux flash here and there, adding character without overwhelming. At the centre of the generous open-plan living area, a large modular white sofa plush with cushions anchors a zone that invites pure relaxation. Just steps away, the kitchen, finished in deep, high-gloss charcoal lacquer – unfolds with a central island and a counter for family get-togethers. A long dining table, perfect for hosting friends and family, runs parallel, creating continuity between kitchen and living room. The night area revolves around expansive bedrooms, where oversized beds dominate the scene, paired with bathrooms that celebrate marble’s elegance. Showers and tubs in the primary suites are carved into stone and enriched with backlit custom furnishings that fuse practicality and beauty. Privacy is ensured in every room, while slim recessed LED bars produce evocative plays of light that add depth and movement to the spaces. It is a project that showcases ostiliomobili’s ability to turn a home into a lived-in work of art, where design and nature converse in perfect harmony. PHOTO Alessandra Dosselli
